The guitarist had been promising fans a “special announcement” concerning the month of October. With a post on the site dated September 15, signed “No Doubt,” came word that the band had planned to spill the beans on the club tour that day, but singer Gwen Stefani was considering a movie offer that might interfere with the shows. On September 17, a new post arrived, apologizing for the confusion and announcing the dates. The previous post has since been pulled.
